The BEST Annual Conference will be held in Turku, Finland's oldest city, on May 23rd and 24th, 2024. It allows participants to exchange ideas and experiences with professionals from other PTAs and learn about the city that achieves the highest citizen satisfaction score in BEST.

About the event
The BEST Annual Conference will be held in Turku, Finland's oldest city, on May 23rd and 24th, 2024. Turku achieved the highest citizen satisfaction scores of all the 11 BEST cities/regions from 2020 to 2023. At the conference, you will learn more about the public transport system in Turku and have the opportunity to use it yourself.
Turku’s director of city planning, who will join us on the first day of the conference, will introduce us to the city's history before focusing on the challenges and opportunities we face as PTAs.
In the evening on the 23rd of May, we will take a short walk along the seaside before we board one of Turku’s waterbuses. The waterbus will take us to the Ruissalo island in the Turku archipelago, where we will have dinner together.
